What this involves.
Nothing about a roof is visible from the ground. Granule loss reads as a slightly duller color. A bruise from hail is a soft spot you have to feel for. A seal that broke in a wind event looks identical to one that did not until you lift the tab. Which is why an inspection is somebody on the roof with a camera rather than somebody in the driveway with an opinion.
What you get back is the photographs and an explanation of what they show. Robert spent seventeen years teaching, and he explains things like it. If you would rather have the short version, ask for the short version.
How It Works
The inspection
We get on the roof and photograph what is up there. If it will not carry a claim, that is where this stops, and it has still cost you nothing.
The claim
If it is worth filing, you call your carrier, because it is your policy and they will only talk to you. We put the photographs, the measurements and the scope into the form an adjuster expects.
The adjuster
When the adjuster walks the roof we are there to answer the scope questions and hand over the estimate, so the damage gets counted once instead of argued about after the check arrives.
The work
Roof first, then whatever else the claim covers: the gutters, the fence, the garage door, the ceiling the water came through and the paint over it.

How much does an inspection cost?
Nothing, and that includes the visits that end with us telling you the roof is fine.
How long does it take?
Most single-family roofs are half an hour to forty-five minutes on the roof, plus the time it takes to walk you through the photographs afterwards.
Do I need one if my roof is not leaking?
A roof can take hail damage and not leak for a year or more, because what hail does first is break seals and thin the surface rather than open a hole. If there has been a significant hail event over your street, it is worth knowing.
Will you tell me to file a claim?
Only if what is up there will support one. Some of the roofs we look at have damage that will not carry a claim, and filing anyway puts a denial on your record for nothing.
